Playrcart, JustPremium and Vodafone Partner - Enabling Customers to Order Directly within Digital Advertisement Assets

A World First for the Telecommunications Industry, Vodafone has chosen London AdTech Startup Playrcart to work alongside existing partner JustPremium to streamline the ordering of SIM cards online into a one step process

London, United Kingdom, 2nd September 2021: Playrcart (www.playrcart.com), the startup turning digital ads into instantly transactional storefronts, is proud to announce a new partnership with JustPremium, a GumGum company (www.justpremium.com) and Vodafone.

Vodafone trusts existing partner JustPremium with the build and the delivery of their rich media creatives. Adding Playrcart's technology into the creative process very early, allows Vodafone to integrate the ordering of SIM cards directly into their advertising assets.

The partnership between Playrcart and JustPremium will focus on maximising the ROI of digital advertising placement for Vodafone’s assets. The team will do this by removing the traditional click-through purchase journey entirely. The technology delivers a solution that converts first impressions into more attention, more interactions and more successful checkouts, without ever leaving the ad. The move is set to turn SIM orders into a simple one step process, cutting needless store visits and lengthy checkout processes in favour of a rapid experience to better match the expectations of the digital user of today.

From mid-August, prospective Vodafone customers in need of a new SIM who encounter Vodafone advertisements whilst browsing the web, will have the opportunity to order a SIM card online with just a few clicks and no extra effort - all through the creative and Playrcart’s technology. With retail stores forced to shut numerous times globally and extra precautions in place when shopping in person, the move to change the way ads are used will empower those customers looking to make quick purchases, with an interactive and seamless transactional advertising experience.

This collaboration is only the latest for London-based adtech company Playrcart, who has recently activated similar partnerships with high profile organisations in other industries, including Warner Bros, Walgreen Boots Alliance for Liz Earle skincare products and AB InBev for Corona Beer. Playrcart will be announcing further partnerships in the near future with other industry-leading brands.

“Since founding Playrcart we’ve been very confident that our adtech solutions would contribute considerably to the disruption of the traditional advertisement landscape,'' said Glen Dormieux, Founder and CEO of Playrcart. “Our partnership with JustPremium and Vodafone is yet another proofpoint that global companies at the highest levels are embracing that change and are looking for innovative ways to bring their products to their customers. We’re proud to be at the forefront of that change.”

Rob Garber, Managing Director UK & BE at JustPremium, comments: “The shift from physical retail outlets to e-commerce has expedited over the past 18 months, and it’s incredibly important that new technology allows brands to facilitate this greater digital demand in a seamless way - which is exactly the solution Playrcart offers. Their technology allows brands to sell their products and services directly via an advert, and we’re extremely excited that Vodafone are leading the charge with this, via JustPremium’s suite of High Impact formats”

Joerg Schneider, Global Head of Sales and Supply at JustPremium, adds: “Rich Media works perfectly for getting people’s attention and combined with the Playrcart technology it serves to shorten the conversion line exactly where it’s needed - when people’s purchase behavior in shops is disrupted. Vodafone trusts in a powerful combination of Technology and Creativity, a combination JustPremium offers every day. We are always happy to find partners like Playrcart and Vodafone on our journey to bring creativity to digital.”

“Playcart’s integration with JustPremium has allowed us at Vodafone to maximise and essentially evolve what is possible through our digital advertising,” comments Richard Kanolik - Programmatic Lead Vodafone . He continues: “Simplifying the e-commerce journey so that the user is now able to convert within an already engaging rich media ad will inevitably lead to an increase in campaign performance and ultimately ROI.”
